In mining, efficient material handling can significantly affect productivity and profitability. The WL1200 and WL3000 mining FlipScreens are revolutionising the mining industry by delivering an exact material size and therefore eliminating primary crusher blockages. The industry standard for adequate material grade is referred to as P80. This means that 80% of the particle size is within specification and 20% is potentially detrimental from though-put. Using the WL1200 and WL3000 the result fed into the primaries is what we call P100.
In many instances in mining; most of what is referred to as unscheduled stoppages are in-fact blockages in the primary and are caused by oversize. These are expressed as percentages as low as 4% and as high as 11.6%.
